Management of DNS Servers
Deploying, developing and managing wireless telemetry solutions incorporates
many different skill sets and knowledge bases. Each piece requires time and
expertise, which may distract you from your core business. DNS server management
is a critical part of your wireless data solution, and we can manage that
for you. Our wireless data experts manage multiple DNS servers for redundancy
and to enable devices to be located on the network at any time. CrossBridge
automatically tracks device IP addresses and provides the information to
your application via standard DNS services. This allows for more cost-effective
communication and lets you focus your time and your resources on your core
business.
Push Technology
Many M2M device solutions include an Over-The-Air (OTA) application for communicating
device IP address changes to a host server. If working directly with a carrier,
this requires additional device application intelligence and increased monthly
airtime charges. With CrossBridge's private Static IP addressing and SMS
Wakeup, you can find your device on the network and push messages to it so
your devices do not have to continually poll the networks for messages. This
is a good alternative to talk to an infrequently accessed device where low-cost
airtime plans are a must. And since CrossBridge will manage the entire process
for you, it is a simple solution to a complex problem.
Legacy Protocol Support
CrossBridge’s network is specifically designed to ease the pain of network
migrations. To integrate all your applications, we support legacy x.25 and LU6.2
protocols in addition to IP, which allows you to integrate all your applications
and migrate them in phases.
Network Migration
As several of the legacy networks
are being phased out, it is necessary for customers to migrate their solutions
to the newer 3G networks. CrossBridge provides several options for migrating
these devices. Our wireless data experts will help you determine if it is necessary
to migrate all pieces of your solutions to the new networks. As this can be
a costly upgrade, it may be possible to replace part of your solution without
modifying the host server interface and application. As always, CrossBridge
