The Important Network Operations Center
A network operations center (or NOC, pronounced like the word "knock") is a place from which a telecommunications network is supervised, monitored, and maintained.
The CrossBridge NOC is the focal point for network management, performance monitoring, and coordination with our affiliated network providers. We continuously monitor and analyse network events using visualizations of each of the carrier networks. Workstations provide detailed status of the network and the necessary software to manage network functionality. Our technicians perform troubleshooting, communicate with technicians at other NOCs, and track problems through resolution. We have established policies and procedures and if necessary, escalate internally and externally to the appropriate personnel.
